having a similar problem with my R6 once the temp dropped...instead of starting right up it will roll over a lot before finally starting, most of the time I have to give it a little throttle for it to start

I say wait til it warms up and see if the problem still persists

Probably takes the computer a few seconds to adjust to the cold when you crank it up.

My 06 ninja 650 has no problem and starts up instantly. I would assume you got the same, if not better, technology in your bike for auto choke and all that.

Do you frequently ride it? or has it been sitting thru several freezing days with no starts?

If you pull the secondary throttle blades (for more power) and change the tune accordingly, it will also be very tough to start.

Don't ask me how I know....

Mine is doing the same thing and I was wondering if that's normal because I bought it when it was already cold. So I don't know if it's the cold or something else...

There is your problem. I have not started my bike in 1 week and it took me a good 3 mins before she came to life.
