the bikes are gone, that sucks.
custom paint job means nothing. they can either sand them down, paint over them. if the thieves are smart enough to do this job im pretty sure they are smart enough to do something to the the bikes/parts to not look like they are stolen.
well as i said it sucks it happened that they invaded your home to take the bikes which i think could have been worse if they went inside. but the bikes are gone , happens . its happened to others as well and you took no further actions to secure your stuff so it got lifted, hope next time you will do more to keep them. live and learn . good thing for full coverage but you wont get as much back as you put into the bike.

that sux. but what sux even more is i can guarantee you someone that frequents this board knows info on who did it, but will never come forward because either, it's not their problem, or they're too scared to get their own bikes stolen. there are unfortunately very very shady people on this forum, and many others are associates of them. fkn lame when everyone here talks about being part of a "family" but they then won't come forward to help get someone's baby back.

best of luck retrieving your bikes.

Some people here do act like a family. I have met a few people here that I would trust with my bike. It would be a shame for those people to stab me in the back, but I don't think those people are the ones doing it. Most of the people here though I have never even met.

It is too easy to let your guard down to someone you think you know because they frequent the same forum as you though.

both had the keys locked inside the house both had the steering locked on the bike, both were locked inside the garage, and I've never met anyone to look at my the f4i or 50 AT my house I didn't trust 100% *ie Solracer who's house I've been too myself.* just how many more "steps" did I need to take? I was at work or this would have been a different outcome.

awww man, I never got to see the f4i. This is too much. You live in a good neighborhood, do everything right, and still get screwed. All I know is I better not catch anyone trying to steal my bike, I'll choke the life out of them.

Holy that sucks.

Both bikes. I really really dislike thieves. Which is why when I read about would-be thieves getting shot by the homeowners, I smile.

I hope you recover them.

Update I've got all the paperwork for insurance gonna fill it out today. I was lucky that the insurance claims is a block away from my work so I can just hand them the paperwork instead of mailing it off so hopefully they will fix it.

My Garage door is ****ed. I think I need to take a hammer to it because I parked my corolla in the right side *which is where they broke into* because it was supposed to freeze last night well when I got up to go to work I couldn't get the door open for the life of me, half way up it jammed..

So thats another thing I get to pay for so I had to take the Porsche to work *thank they didn't mess with it* at least I have covered parking at work...

I didn't realize it till later but my 50 was in the back yard because I was goofing off on it keeping the carbs clean and I left it in the back yard yesterday. Lucky thing too cuz I would have been SOL if it was in the garage too no insurance on that thing.

gonna finish up the paperwork and I really hope they find my bike but if not I hope working with progressive will be a painless process so I can get back on 2 wheels with you guys.

Off topic to the thread, but I've been playing a lot more Craps then I have poker lately. it's SO much more fun and you're not playing against each other so you dont want to come across the table and hit some who stayed in with 10 4 os and hits trip 4's on the river when you had two pair on the flop Ace high Lemmie know when it gets closer but I may come just to play table games and watch you play or maybe I'll check it out.

p.s. I'm keeping the 50 inside my bedroom locked to my automatic firing shotgun that is voice deactivated to me only!

Well I just got back from progressive. Chris is my agent and he was telling me I should be well taken care of in about 10 days. What a relief taking to him has been. I thought it would take months! :(

You know, I've always suspected the ppl that come into these threads talking mad chit about you shoulda done this and that as ppl that are somehow involved in the robbings...I mean, it's bad enough that it happened and you wanna come in here and make the situation worse? I hate ignorant ppl..

If it makes you feel any better, we were at Wal-Mart the night after Christmas and some POS lowlife decided to break into our truck to steal a $20 present that was in the back seat, and you know, that can easily be replaced, but what really got to me, is the fact that they even took my son's diaper bag...What kind of worthless piece of trash steals a diaper bag from a child?

As much as it may or may not help, I will keep my eyes open for ya...

Oh, and on a very relevant side note...If you have an electric garage door, check to see if there is a key hole on the outside of the door, if there is, go inside the garage and disconnect the line coming from it, cuz all they gotta do is pop that lock(universal key most time) and pull that line and up goes the door...I know this cuz I use to work on them when I was working maintenance at an apartment complex..

sorry to hear your luck. Bikes aren't safe anywhere, inside or outside. If the thieves want it bad enough he'll do anything to get it. No camera, alarm system, or locks gonna protect your bike if it's a wanted item.

Thats a good idea Cali.

THis has got me thinking to install a doggy door that will allow my German Sheperd to get into the garage from inside the house.

Thanks I went back on my lunch break and figured out what was wrong with the garage door they knocked it off the roller and spring and that in turn pulled out one of the rollers completely out of the grooves. I snapped them all back in place and got the corolla out and stuck the Porsche back inside it's cave.

Took the radar detector and GPS out of it too so there's nothing in the car anymore I'm sure glad they didn't cut the top to steal those or I would have hired an assassin or something to track them down...
