If it is showing any crash damage, I doubt it will pass tech. In fact I'm not sure I would want to wear one that has been crashed in.

No dirt bike helmets can be rocked with goggles for the motard guys????

Five years old is the maximum for a helmet, regardless of condition. If it shows crash damage, passing tech will be at the discretion of the tech official. (Just FYI - I am one of the CMRA tech officials and I generally do not like to approve helmets that look like they have had any structural damage at all.)

Also, no dedicated dirt bike helmets for any full-sized motards. The mini crossover events will often see some leeway with regard to this rule, however.

^^

I've seen 'em before and they are acceptable.

The biggest issues with dedicated dirt bike helmets are the shape (pronounced chin bar especially, but visor, too) and the need for goggles. Full face street helmets have a better profile for going fast on a road course and, should it happen, crashing.
