PM me, as I have shipped quite a few bikes. The last one I ran came from WA to TX. The gents name is Roger, and he does nothing but motorcycles. He came highly recommende when I started using him, and has done an awesome job.

I used this guy through Uship.com from L.A. to Houston. Good Price for an enclosed trailer. My experience was good. You can call him direct.

shipping a bike

I WOULD NOT USE JIM CARTER at jcsxtream. DANGER, BEWARE of this dude

The guys an a-hole and his driver did some damage to my bike in transit and they never said it happened, so now I'm screwed. The guys a loser and he's not worth the risk of using a lousy shipper like that. There's too many good ones out there but he's not one of them. Ubid is a good source, just don't use the lowest bid or you may never see your bike again! Good luck.

Talking My shipping experience

I used Freightcenter.com. Had a GREAT experience. Call Mike direct @ 800-716-7608 xt 1043. $682 (inc. Insurance to $7000) all-in door to door to ship my 06 Z1000. Bike was crated, strapped & covered, then shipped in covered air-ride trucks, MN to Houston. They told me 10 to 15 business days... it was picked up Good Friday & was in Houston the following Tuesday!

Good deal - just watching out for a fellow bike pilot, ha - making sure you don't get sucked into one of those great ebay "deals" or something. My nieghbor lost $3k even after he was told not to do it.
Hope you get it soon.

Quik-shots if you can wait will be cheaper and he is a fellow bike enthusiast. Burly Robertson (Quick-shots) just moves bikes in enclosed transport.

I used to use Roger, but pretty much use Quik-shots exclusively now.

He has moved many bikes across the US for me.
