Drag racing gone bad

Saw this on another forum and thought i would share. Majority of the races are from local Houston track and features a few motorcycle drags.

I can't stand when ppl know they are in trouble, but yet they stay in the throttle...Looks like a lot of those cars need a new Driver...And what's with all the cars losing their tires, too much Torque?

Looks like the crashes in the HMP track were all in the same spot!! Crappy track? I been but never ran at HMP..I know the few times I ran at HRP that track is like riding on super glue...you can hear your tires stickin all the way down the track

For the guy on the cruiser who looked like he blew a fuel line while doing a burnout...that would of scared the out of me!!

The guy that oiled down the Evadale track at the 2 min mark was the first bike to ever do it at that track. The headlight coming up the return road was me. I was the second guy to ever oil the track down.lol..and the last so far.

hahaha I love at 2:05 the rider looks backwards to check something on his bike and just falls off. Sorry, but that's just funny and he doesn't seem to be going fast enough to get hurt so I don't feel bad.

And whats with all the wheels falling off? Tighten the lug nuts? Well some I see it looks like the whole axle comes off lawl. Fords.

You don't need a NHRA license at HMP and they don't have as many rules as HRP thats why you see more wrecks there.

HMP seemed to have always had one bad spot in it.. but its not the track. A lot of the 10.5 /outlaw cars run there. Thats the prob. Trying to hook up 1500-2000hp on a 1.5" wide tire. Plus the rules are lax compared to HRP so people bring out shitboxes..

Edit:

Most of those cars go sideways when they got outside the grove.. If you dragrace much you know how hairy that can get.

A lot of people put too much time and money into the engine and trans and not enough in the diff-thats what happens when the diff grenades itself you get a tire with axle attatched. Had a Suburban that had a light duty 1/2 ton rear in itand the diff went south-dove it home with the front axle after we pulled off the driveshaft to the rear. Didn't spit out the axle till about 1/10th of a mile from the house. Made for a very interesting day!! Subsequently changed the rear to a full float 1 ton-much better now!!

It is not the track. HMP has run some of the fastest cars in the country. Notice almost all of the crashes are at night. When the dew falls on the track the cars can only keep the driving groove dry when repeatedly driving over it. Any delays in getting cars down the track and the track gets damp. You cant see it by looking. Any space outside of that narrow groove is going to be slick regardless of how many cars are running. The windshield and tailpiece on my bike is the telltale. If it fogs up, time to pack it up.
