memorial, or the ant hills. But I was curious of checking out the place south of sugarland, but I have never been there. Another member posted pics of the place and it looked decent

Jack Brooks is likely to be much harder for most riders than Memorial or Ant Hills so keep that in mind.

I'll be up for riding Friday sometime late morning or early afternoon.

Something tells me most people won't be feeling up to riding that day though.

I rode the Justin Brimley trail yesterday, more of a pump track than an XC course. No real climbs but they built in some wooden bridges/spines and other stuff to make it fun. It's about a 2 mile loop so you could run it over agan as much as you want and there is a hose at the dogpark across the parking lot to clean off your bike. The trails were pretty dry as of yesterday.

Anyone up for a RHR ride at the end of Jan.?

I'm out of riding shape so it wouldn't be a real aggressive ride.

The Brindley trail is a claimed 2 miles. (It feels shorter but I don't ride with a cyclometer.) It's well groomed, shaded, and directional. It flows well so you can build speed. There are no climbs, roots, or stream crossings so it's a good place for a beginner. The TTFs are fairly easy but the drop-offs keep it interesting for an intermediate rider. If I lived in Sugar Land, I'd still drive to Memorial Park or Jack Brooks on the weekends.

If anyone knows the Ant Hills well, I could use a trail guide when it dries up some.

I prefer Warda over RHR too. I am up for a trip to Warda, there is a 12 hour race there on Feb. 6th and I need to get back in bike shape.
