inspection plus the green sheet (which i think it was actually pink)

you will have to pay your standard state inspection ($14.50?), and also pay them to do the other (forgot the title of the green sheet) which when I did it, was I think $7.

safety/inspection
green sheet

Finally got it

BUTTTTT it's not running right.

When I went to pick it up, they said it would be just a bit longer because they were adjusting the carb. So I waited, they fired it up and I brought it home. I started it up when I got home to ride it around the neighborhood of course... and I was surprised at how sluggish it was.

It would start up fine after opening the choke, and then after closing it all sounded fine.... when I finally got into first gear and took off, it just felt slow.... I read about how the 450's have enough torque to power wheelie up into 3 gear even... but at one point I realized I had the throttle pinned, not intentionally... and it still was just creeping and creeping and just never took off.

So I called them, and they said that definitely didn't sound right and I should bring it back in

So I guess I wont get to have my fun JUST yet.. but I'm still glad to see it sitting at home

Dirty carb, I'm guessing or wrong jets.

Looks good. You going to tard it out?

yeah it's brand new, so Im guessing it's the carb like you said.

I plan on semi-tarding it out. I want to definitely get it ready for the street and commuting to work as well with some more HHMMPPPFFF out of the engine.

But I don't want to TOTALLY tard it out because I plan on using it for off-road as well :-)

Feel free.. but if you break it you buy it

I know it's my first dirtbike, but it definitely is not riding how it should... reminded me A LOT of the '07 R1 throttle lag.. just wouldn't go anywhere
