mid-pipe needed, anyone work mufflers???

i got an 07 600rr. I just got a used exhaust and it didnt come with the mid pipe to install onto the bike. I was thinking if anyone have a mid pipe to sell...or anyone work at an exhaust shop, cut stock exhaust can off, fab an angle, weld can and angle to stock piping??? ill then heat wrap it for clean look? anybody ???
