Yeah, I was on 45 and got hit hard. My front wheel actually skid as I slid into the other lane, just barely in front of a semi truck.

Was no doubt the scariest time I have ever had on a bike.

While I was driving home, I was wondering if there was anyone dumb enough to ride in this mess.

Now I have my answer.

I had a good amount of riding in windy weather because I used to commute rain or shine (windy too). There are times where I rode a good 5-10 mi with constant side wind so I was leaning off a bit as if I'm turning just to keep the bike going straight and not have to force the handle bar. Got weird looks from the cagers.

Tomorrow I'm riding to Austin, maybe I'll make a threat about my cold weather gear (cheap, that works) for that could bring out some good discussion maybe.

I rode from 290 to 2 wheel toys and back with a co-worker, and had no problem. But that's just me. Oh, and rode home tonight after work. If you can't stand the weather go inside.

Truck says it is 33 degrees right now. Wind has subsided a bit from yesterday but is still blowing pretty good. Brrrr!
