In 1998, 46% of fatally injured motorcycle drivers were not wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
That means that 54% were wearing a helmet.

Jus saying....a helmet aint always enough and to make the point that he wasn't wearing a helmet doesnt mean much.

I always wear one though.

yeah but what % of motorcycle fatalities are cause by head injuries? what do they define as a helmet? full face or brain bucket?
of course a helmet isnt going to keep your neck from breaking, or a semi from running you over. statistics dont mean anything if you take them at face value.
