the video keep buffering and I never got to see the whole thing, but I saw a few homes destroyed. It's hard to see peoples lives and everything they own gone. How close was this to you? Hope you were not effected

Oh no... it was probably 50 or so miles from my house. It was an F4. 3 people were killed. :(

There was one which touched down within a mile of my house back in 2000. Talk about surreal. Tornado sirens weren't working or anything.

I remember when I was in middle school we had a tornado touch down a few miles from my school. I was so scared and crying b/c my doggies were in our backyard alone. I thought they were going to die. But we had all our desks moved to the center of the room and were all hiding under them it was crazy, luckely nothing happened

Dang... the only time I experienced hail like that was during a Rangers game... YUP! DURING A FOOKING MLB GAME! The Jumbo-tron got trashed and I still don't know - to this day - how no one was seriously injured or killed! The field was white and filled with SOFTBALL-SIZED hail.

What's weird is that our car which was parked about a 1/4-mile away didn't get touched.
