MSF course help..

I had started to take the MSF course this weekend and my ride bailed on me the 2nd day (so I missed it and got dropped from the class, I have no car right now). I live in the medical center, and I was hoping if anyone knew of a MSF course near here, that's not 30 minutes away and isn't 300 $. I'm already out of one course fee's, can anyone make a good recommendation? I have to get this completed in order to get a Texas License since mine was an expired out of state license.

Thanks in advance.

Where was the course at? Maybe call and talk to the head person and explain the situation and maybe they will let you make up the other day or two next time around?

My one and only suggestion is Awesome Cycles near 45 and Kurkyndal. Awesome class, under $200, MotoHouston discount and great class and great instructors.

I took it over at the spring branch ISD off westview. Awesome Cycles sounds good, but that's even farther than this place was. Sadly, the office for this class is closed until Jan 3rd. So I have to wait until then to talk to them ;/

Make the drive for Awesome Cycles if you need another class. I drove from Pearland. Worth it.

I remember seeing a class being held at Terry highschool in Rosenberg...don't know much about it sadly, maybe someone has taken the class and can chime in

Rosenberg isn't to far from the med center

You can get a list of all the schools in the Houston area here.

Just FYI, the bus line stops right at our classroom, or you could just ride your bike (not that I would ever tell someone to break the law).

PS: Were you absent the day they discussed "Adapt, Improvise, Overcome" in boot camp?

Isn't Rosenberg past sugarland on 59. That's still a good lil drive. but anyhow, the more suggestions the better.

28 miles to Rosenberg, 21 to us, but I get your drift.

lol Challen, no I wasn't absent that day. :P. I had counted on someone and they let me down ;/. By the time I had found another option, it was already too late.

I didn't see anything about you telling me to break the law :P lol. Hopefully it won't come to that thought so I can get this done.

Call the one you did after they open back up and see if you can do the single day; if not you have the other options.

Does the bus run on Sat and Sun at 6 am to up North?

Thanks for the info guys. I'm either going to go to Awesome Cycles this weekend or attempt to see if they'll let me make up the 2nd day (probably won't knowing my luck).

it has nothing to do w/ luck

1) how can the inst. be assured that you've done ALL the riding exercise. what if in day 1 you got up to ex. 5, and then the new inst. starts sun on ex 7. , you've missed riding ex. 6. diff. classes have diff. paces, some are fast some are slower.

2) $, you'd be taking somebody's place who woulda paid full price vs free or some reduced cost to retake day 2. they are a business. i'm sure awesome cycles would have booted you as well.

sucks but it is what it is. rent a car. for 2 days? i had students rent a hotel room across from class cuz they were from outta town.
