That place is through. It needed repave a decade ago. They put zero time and money into that place. No longer fit for big bikes.
Id bet cmra will go somewhere else for the second race too.

Andy is pretty close.
The family or I should say Mrs. Gibson is letting her extended family take over the trust. They are unsure of what they want to do with the property.
We all know the track is cheap to rent per bike for practice and obsolete in my eyes for anything bigger than minis or motards. There are been a million attempts by the CMRA to get a long term plan from the management but to no avail. A repave or improvements are out of the question hence the big hole in the ground comment. I would bet $$$ that it gets turned into another strip mining hole.

Hopefully the lignite mining will be a very distant occurence. I was talking to someone there one day and it was said that remediation after the mining included putting down a new track. I dont believe that would happen.
