I wouldn't take my suspension to anyone but Patrick, Brandon, and Booby at Motorcycles Unlimited. They've done the suspension on both of my racebikes, and I've had ZERO issues with them. Can't say for sure exactly what they charge, as I'm not positive, and I never really pay attention to price when I know I'm getting good work.

Remember, it's better to pay a little bit more and have it done right the first time, than get it done for cheap and then have to pay someone else to re-do it the right way...and that's not saying that they're expensive.

Motorcycles Unlimited, hands down.

From what I've heard, Jim Cambora is the guru of suspension in Texas, well that is if you can find him.

How about from what you have experienced?

Anyway, Motorcycles Unlimited does all my suspension work. I have had 2 race/track bikes that Motorcycles Unlimited has done full front and rear suspension. They also adjust all my street bikes.

IMO, you're better off dealing locally than pulling forks, shipping, re installing and then trying to adjust. Furthermore, you can always get ahold of Patrick and the gang if you have issues and not put to the back of the line in favor of other peeps.

For basics like changing fork springs, seals and oil, I do my own. I know how to do the Zuki Gixxer and Busa.

For the rear shock spring, Motorcycles Unlimited. When it's time for the Gold valves and redoing the guts, I'll be seeing Motorcycles Unlimited.

.. small world!

Not sure if the guts on your fork are the same as mine... if so I have the technology.

You can get in line behind 2 ZX12 clutches, a cruise control install, and a VFR valve adjustment... LOL!!!

One of you guys go find a manual and shoot me the pages on the forks and I can see what's involved.

Jim Cambora is the best I've been to. I couldn't be happier with his work.

I am yet to experience anyone but I have been looking for a while now, the common names that always appear are:

*Brandon at Motorcycles Unlimited.
*Jim Cambora.
and for the kind of bike I will race, Keith Herthrell (RoadandTrack in MH).

I know my business will go to either one of them three, which they are all locals in Texas

Dustin, there is a detail description with pics on TriumphRat.net about the gsxr fork conversion. Its a good forum with plenty of info about everything Triumph related. It was good meeting you yesterday at Yankees and seeing the new bike.
