What brand is the CG one?
I either go with 2 tenders or I believe they offer a dual model. Give me a shout tomorrow and I'll check.

I have one I use on 4 diff things, I just move it every week or so.

Lawnmower, 2 old trucks and 4 wheeler, I read a battery doesnt need to go more that 6 weeks with out a charge, I havent had any trouble.

I have the same one from CG, its really nice and tells you if its charged , 80% charged or dead.

does this have the leads that stay connected to the battery? or do you actually have to clip it to the terminals? the location on the harley is a pain to get to and would prefer to connect a lead once and just plug in when in the garage

I think Battery Ternder offers a basic model then a bigger model, I would at least go with the bigger model if your gonna run it on 2 batteries. But I think either two separate units or something designed for two batteries is prob best.

Last time I was in CG they had the actual Battery Tender brand. Green with yellow letters I think.

I love my battery tender jr. that I swap from car to car to bike to bike to bike to scooter.

all of my bikes have the lead on the battery, and I carry extra alligator clips to jump off of, or hook to car batteries. I also have a 20' extension.

I absolutely love my battery tender jr. It is now probably 6 years old and lasting longer than my batteries.

I have a Battery Tender for each bike (3). Got a triple outlet extension and I'm good.
1 would be OK for just 2 bikes, but 2 would be less hassle.
