Making the reservation tomorrow for a 17' truck, still deciding if I should spend the extra $25 for a 26'. I don't think I need the 26' (UHual says the 17' is good for 2-3 bedrooms, but a family member of mine that recently moved thinks it all won't fit in a 17), but $25 is not much to ensure one nice big trip without having to make extra trips with the truck, but I also don't want tons of empty space and everything falling around on the drive up. Renting one way. Figured up the cost differences today, it will cost me more in mileage and gas to bring it back.

Honestly brena, cali, edge you guys don't have to come if you have other plans. With falk, brisingr, dt, speed, myself and poket mexican, we prob will get done super fast. But if you guys still want to help your more than welcome and can come get some grub with us my treat.

Thanks again everyone, it looks like we will be able to get this done and get it done quick enough we can still enjoy our christmas vacation.

Falk, brisingr, dt, speed, would you guys like to do it earlier in the day? It appears that may work better with a few of your schedules. I am open for whenever, we are off and I'll pickup the truck that morning and have it for up to 24 hours so anytime works for us.

Anything works really. Have to back to my place around 8ish. I figure throwing in an extra hour or 2 for any set backs helps.

As for the truck...I moved a while back, 2 bed apartment and we used the biggest truck they had. Had things all the way to the back. And we really don't have THAT much . If you're really good about your packing things into the truck vertically, then you can make do with much less space. We really didn't play tetris too hard though. Mostly just started stuffing in. Take it how you will.

Thanks for the tip. I will prob just go ahead with the 26 then. We don't have tons of stuff, but I don't really want to find that out after we get the truck packed I still gotta make 2-3 100 mile round trips to get the rest of the stuff. I guess if it turns out to be lots of leftover space, I can just start laying boxes all hortizontal and filling up the space. Or maybe you guys can party back there while I drive. (not really). It's only 25 bucks more and someone is sending me some coupons as well for the UHual so it isn't a big deal.

Werd...I guess if you think you might need extra space, I'll come in the car which could probably fit 2-3 small/medium boxes

If you don't mind, what neighborhood? I'm close to Chedders also in Northgate Crossing. Would like to offer help but I'll be out of town in New Orleans and sounds like you already have a full crew.

Always looking for people close that want to ride.....may post up for some riding after Christmas since I'm off for 10 days!

Possibly. After we close Monday I am going over and doing all my wiring and drops, so depends on what time I get done with that. 6 wall drops (2 on exterior walls). a total of 16 ethernet lines and 6 coax lines. If I start at noon it will likely take me most of the rest of the day. Gotta get it done Monday though cause Tuesday is moving day and AT&T will be there on Wednesday.

If'n you want to. Pocket mexican should be there with me as well knocking what she can out. I'm picking up a devices that's got a super strong magnet in it that you use to pull the wires down the wall, so hopefully that should make the job a bit easier.
