Thanks for having us and doing that for us, Patrick. It was quite informative.

I'll be seeing you soon for a new front tire too.

Dude you are so ready for a 600. Start looking now that everyone is trying to sell them in the winter months. Line it up for a February purchase. New sig coming soon!!!

Patrick,
Been to your basic maint class twice before. Thanks also on behalf of all us that have already been. Still waiting on a list small enough to add myself again, as to not bump anyone off that hasn't been. Got some maint coming up too. See you soon!

LOL.

Too cold? Please. I was up riding south at 8:20am in the morning from Huntsville.

I wiped the ice off my cover, put the cover away, and was on my way.

PS - It was fairly miserable...

Meh, I needed to check out Awesome Cycles anyway. He got me with a laser so a typical radar detector would not have worked. The officer was polite and quick about getting me the ticket so i can't complain too much. Plus, I deserved the ticket as I was traveling 16mph over the speed limit. Still it was or was not slower than the "we'll take it slow" ride from PP1 to Motorcycles Unlimited, so...
Oh, and there is no video on that Walkman. It is just a standard cassette player with AM/FM built in.

Oh, and thanks again Patrick. Trudges off to change the fork oil...

Too funny when I realized it was you.

Shoot man i was jsut happy the sun was out and i was on my bike ridding. i didn't care where i was going as long as i was on the bike. Then i noticed all the Trees and the statue/ prison and was like hahahaha i missed the exit. poked the phone gps and was 50 miles to far north. Funny thing is i think i saw you and waved at you!

Spartandude:
Yup couldn't say nothing when they get you with the lazer. My radar (9500ix) detects it for a few miles if they happen to be using it. When i hear it just let up and look out. or if you really want to be all Night Rider'ed out you can get a Cheetah M27 or a Beltronics RX75 and be invisible or so i hear.

Andrea, enjoy your FZ6, but be careful on it. Someone else said on here "respect the throttle".

Right now I am too scared not to respect the bike! And there is absolutely no way I am riding it home from Motorcycles Unlimited for my first ride. Seller will have to drop it off the me at home. I need to practice in the neighborhood/parking lots first.

neighborhood practice definitely is not the best, unless there is absolutely no traffic in your neighborhood. Watch out for cars backing out of driveways and the usual 16 yo texting or driving like an idiot.

Goodluck!
