[QUOTE=1340HIGH;2356837]Depends on Bike and Rider

Also if you were pulled over and informed the officer the Y&B is only advisory he might say OK I am advising you that your getting a ticket.

QUOTE]

This is where you have to be careful cus the officer can get into wreckless or dangerous driving that many times are bullshit but will still end up costing you court cost and possibly impound fees and other .

Just be careful how far you push it on the streets. I aitn gonna say only ride the track as I do both and dont speed on the street as I may still do that on closed roads haha. Just wouldnt reccomend pushing as hard on the street sue to the conquenses of after going down.

Basically just be careful and have fun!!!

Rather than trying to go "X" speed I prefer to pick a speed that I can run all day without touching the brakes. Usually somewhere around 80-90 for the majority of the roads around here. Also depends on the group I am with; larger groups will be slower.

For me on most roads double the yellow corner speed works for entries... roads I know well a bit more.

Your max speed is no more than YOU can maintain with safe margins for changing lines or slowing mid corner... so if you are constantly coming out of corners riding the lane edge, SLOW THE F**K DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont ride over 70percent of your ability so you dont have pucker moments.

good rule of thumb, once you know where your limits are.... for new riders it is usually too late when they hit 110%

Besides... the occasional pucker moment is good for your colon!

I'm comfortable (70% to 80% of riding ability) going a little past double the yellow speed limit signs, except on those 15mph turns. The reason I wouldn't want to go insanely higher is because you never know the road conditions, like with animals, gravel, METAL BOXES on the road. I know a lot of people like to gun it on the straights, but I usually go around SL on the straights and hit the corners hot bc you never know when those crown vics, impalas, or chargers come around...
