Lucky guy for sure. If I was in the second samaritan's position, as the first car to come up to the accident, instead of parking off to the side I would have just pulled right up to him to block traffic so I wouldn't have to move him. I'd park it at a bit of an angle too, so other drivers coming up wouldn't think I was just a stalled car and try to zoom around me, they would know something was wrong.

sometimes things just sneak up on you, thats why you gotta leave room. I saw a squid on 249 N. @ 5:00 last night with just a helment on a black GSXR 600 that was cuttin cars and splitting lanes doin about ninety just acting like he was on the track while it was raining, it was solid traffic too. I saw there was an accident about 5 miles later and I debated if I would even stop if it was him. Of course that was me 7 years ago, so its hard to talk t when we've all been there.
