Unless you plan to buy those, you don't have to buy all the gear just for one trackday event.
You can simply rent them at the track.
But it is a good idea to have decent set of gear.

nice gift, by the time you hit 19, u'll probably be faster than most of us.

anyways i suggest buying some nice set of gloves and boots (sidi, oxtar, alpinestars). since you can wear those all the time for daily riding.

As for the one piece leather, i would rent it for $50. unless you want to just get a set for future twisty riding. they range from $300-$500 for most entry level suits. AGV runs $300 and i seen alpinestars tz-1 run $500. two piece suit might be better for some people.

thankssss..

Well actually, I'm a little worried about being too slow, haha.. but I guess I'll have to wait and see how that goes.

and yeah.. I figure I should go ahead and buy a suit anyways for later on.. how many of you on here wear your suits when you hit the twisties?

yeah, dun worry about being slow. there is always some other person slower than you. by mid day you will be passing all the slow people around the corners.

i think most of the OG wear suits when they hit the twisties, but alot of the newer people just wear jacket, glove, and helmet. both works.

i myself wear full one piece, boots, glove, helmet when i hit it up. when i pose at night, i just go jacket, boots, gloves, helmet.

edit: forgot i also wear a backprotector, but not really required.
