Who in Houston stocks Akuma Helmets?

As the title says..... I'm looking at getting an Akuma helmet, but won't buy one without being able to try it on. Basically looking to find out if anyone in Houston stocks them.

It was a simple question. If you didn't have an answer why bother posting something that isn't helpful?

The akuma site gives a better idea...

http://www.akumahelmets.com/dealer_section_locator.php

looks like houston yamaha motorsports & cycle gear

on another note, I like that Wolfpack helmet...
...and wasn't it akuma that was going to have a photochromatic visor?

I apologize for not posting the direct link... I figured I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone....My Bad. The 1st link that camee up (as mentioned) was from the manufacturer which listed the Yamaha dealer on 1960 as an approved vendor if I'm not mistaking.

on the other hand

See my first came up with the Akuma site, and that was using the precise entry used in your post. :-) Didn't get squat on the first two pages for links to actual stores.

Sorry, I should have put a 'P.s.' at the beginning of that.

http://www.akumahelmets.com/products...antomIIMFR.php

"The first and only photochromic visor available from the world leader in photochromic technology – Transitions® Optical, and S.H.I.E.L.D. Tech"
This used to be listed as 'coming soon' under the visors section... it isn't any longer. Though I should probably point out, that I had it incorrectly labeled as 'photochromatic' instead of 'Photochromic'.

Relevance, the posters question has been answered.. thread can/could die at that point or is available for someone to reply who might have information related to the query or commentary in my post in regards to the products.

I appreciate the link BigComfy, that wasn't what I was making a comment about. It was about the people that posted about it being funny that you posted the link. Akuma's site states that Yamaha of Houston as a dealer, but they don't have any in stock......nor does Cycle gear. I'm looking at getting a new helmet,......either SHOEI, or the Akuma Stealth. Problem is I want to be able to walk into a place and actually be able to try one on before dropping the cash on the wrong size and have to go through the whole process of exchanging, and waiting for the correct size to come in. Not only that, I make it a point to be sure the helmet I'm buying actually fits me. SHOEI I know I wear a medium, as with Fulmer and HJC. Still With other brands I wear a size large.

I have an Akuma stealth. On Suomy I wear a small but my Akuma is a Med due to the helmet running a bit smaller. You are more than welcome to come over and try mine on. I'm on the Northsieeeeeeeeed!

KBC quality. Not anywhere near my Suomy.

I use it as a night helmet since I have a tinted visor on my Spec 1R Ext. Changing out the visors is the only real drawback of the Suomy design.

hey thanx,
they're kinda pricey for KBC quality, but they've got some unique designs.
