something to think about

The cycle world 1000cc test was done at Infenion race way with Their top tester running a fast time of 1:48's on off the rack Dunlop Qualifiers.

HIGLHY Modified Superbikes on Dunlops BEST racing slick tires.

1 Neil Hodgson Parts Unlimited Ducati Ducati 999R 1:38.21
2 Tommy Hayden Kawasaki Kawasaki ZX-10RR 1:38.39
3 Jake Zemke American Honda Honda CBR1000RR 1:38.62
4 Ben Bostrom Parts Unlimited Ducati Ducati 999R 1:39.14
5 Miguel Duhamel American Honda Honda CBR1000RR 1:39.71

10 seonds off the fastest times at the last test there is saying something for street tires and stock motorcycles.

look at the riders that tested them and their experience riding. i bet a GP racer would still be faster on street tires than me on race tires. but i would problay be faster with race tires than street tires on the track. know what i mean?

eitherway, its interesting to see what they came up with.
