kaw and zuk's are all i'll ever have.
if you commute on the bike and get stuck in a lotta traffic, you'll be thankful of the busas ergonomics.
i had 3 busas, now have an 07 zx10.
if i get stuck in traffic its like a torture rack (but i have arthritis in my neck)
then again if you could comfortably ride a 6 then a 10 would be about the same riding position

Anything but another yammie.... I am partial to Kawi and zuki myself. Both the ZX-10 and GSXR1000 are nice handling bike and comfortable for a sport bike. Next i would say the CBR1000 b/c you can still find 08 ones for like 6-8k out the door with 0 miles on them.

Ok let me clarify something for you everybody has posted their brand preferences, to get a factual real decision made you need to drive each one and decide off of that not what other people like. I was stuck on a gsxr then roda the honda and r6 and preferred them.

I've got a 2006 CBR1000rr for sale. Needs to have bodywork put back on it, but it's listed for CHEAP and runs and rides without a flaw. Check the classifieds section and see whats available from everyone and what is in your price range.

New bikes can be found for cheap right now, but they are also pushing down the price of used as well.

Did you like the R6? or did you just sell it because you wanted to try something different?

Best advice! Go sit on every bike at the show room and bike night...unless your a poser and buying a bike soley for looks, find the one that fits YOU...and there are more then just the big four that everyone has posted about!
