It's just the reminder that he has a disc lock. Prevention of forgetfulness.

When I use my disk lock I have a "Remove before take-off" flag that goes on the ignition.

You see them on the front the most.
But with the bars locked (hopefully) a thief could just put a skateboard under the fron wheel and move the bike.
With a disk lock on the rear wheel and the bars locked, both wheels would have to come off the ground to move the bike.
Dont know if thats the OP's rationale or not. Just a thought.

makes since, although we all know that neither disc locks or bar lock are very secure. if a thief wants it, they will get it. locks only keep honest people honest. but thats OT, anyhow, sweet bikes, i love the look of that yellow fz. the new fz's look so sick and agressive.

True enough, its all just a deterent. But the more deterents you stack up, the better the odds of a theif picking another bike are.

And hellz yeah, the new FZ are nice. Not a big fan of the graphics, but the fairings and styling really brought them along nicely.
