Ford rebuilt engine help!!!

looking for an engine for my 97 F150. 4.2L V-6 Anyone have experience with any shops in Houston? I need to fix my truck.

we have a fleet of fords at my job if you want i can help in swapping a engine out. of course you don't watch me you will participate also. pretty easy disconnect trans motor mounts and electrics pull out put in reconnect everything. don't get one from thunderbolt though.

i also have had a few calls for quotes on replacing the 4.2l v6 ... seems to be a problem motor...

most i can tell you is don't get one from thunderbolt. also if you rebuild the one it actually is more expensive than swapping for a new one. i would find a salvage yard to be honest tha'ts your best bet. other than that the swap is fairly simple. will have even more info tomorrow as the new engine should have arrived over the weekend i'll be putting it in tomorrow.
