To the OP, a few of our sponsors are down south and have had very good reviews from our forum's members.

X-it cycles is a decent shop, but their rates have gone up (in the last year) and they have become more expensive than the dealer (Yamaha). I now try to do all my own work or just take the bike into Texas Yamaha South in Texas City or Nasa Road 1.

I used to take my bike into Cycle Stop in Webster, but I did not like how he wanted me to sign a blank service ticket and also put back my fairings all kinds of wrong. I don't like having to redo work that I paid someone to do professionally; even if it is a simple thing as fairings...

Do yourself a favor, especially if you are on the south side of Houston and take your bike to Sunny's. That is all.

I'm on the Southside as well, I've had a great experience with Sunny @ Sunny Motorsports
I've seen/heard that 2 Wheel Toys has a pretty good selection of riding gear on the floor.

You make it sound like it's a Thai Massage parlor.

What in the did you just type?

FWIW, I bought some plug caps that were in Parts Unlimited bags from them,
installed them, put all of 50 miles on them and bearly made it home. They straight up self destructed. Took them back in pieces 2 days later and explained that they basicly self destructed in a hours worth of use, the kid and lady behind the counter looked at me like I was a martian speaking
Russian with a spanish dialect. I left the parts and let them know I just thought they should be aware.

I order all my stuff online now.
