Try spinning the c/s sprocket by hand while trying to shift it and see if you could get it to go into neutral.

Your paying Ricky to fix the bike? , what happened to the good'ole days where good karma was a priority and maybe a lunch was payment enough?

Guess the good thing is that if something happens later down the road you can always Sue!

are you kidding me?? if youve seen how foooobard his bike is... hes getting a hella deal by going with me versus a shop.. shops have quoted him over 1000 bucks.. and thats without them knowing what alls wrong with it.. hes in need of ROTORS, PADS, new, fluid, BLEED, install ss lines, he needs new sprockets and chain, he wants to put a set of rear sets on it, he needs triple tree bearings, spark plugs, air filter and a oil change about 20k miles ago... but yea i see how he could sue me....

Yes but what work Patrick does he is liable for as it's his business. On something capable of 150+mph anything can happen. Besides something more dramatic than a mirror falling off might occurr....

As for the work, it looks mostly like scheduled maintenance; I recommend:
BMC air filter
Denso spark plugs
Stock Honda brake pads, not as harsh as aftermarket(what's wrong with current rotors?)
Spiegle brake lines
525VM DID, maybe +2 rear or stock for mileage and rivet masterlink.
Are you sure that he needs triple tree bearings? Most times they just need to be tightened up, seen it on my F4i and on a '05 1000RR as well.
