FieldSheer 1piece leather ?'s

So I think I know what I want for Christmas... How accurate are the FieldSheer leather sizes on their chart? I did the measurements and wonder if the product is true to their size chart or does it come smaller/bigger? Also do the 1pc stretch/shrink over time etc...

Im looking at the FieldSheer Radar 1 Piece Race Suit.
Quote:
* Premium race quality 1.2-1.4mm drum-dyed cowhide
* Perforated torso, back, upper arms and tighs
* CE approved armor in shoulders, elbows, knees and back
* Full-length front YKK zipper
* Zippered wrist and dual zipper closure ankle with flap
* SP memory foam in upper arms, elbows, back, hips and knees
* Elasticized stretch panels for enhanced mobility at shoulders, back, waist, elbows and knees
* Double layered leather seat and elbow area for added safety and durability
* Elasticized stretch panels on sleeves, back of legs and crotch area
* Aerodynamic back hump with elasticized comfort collar
* Non-Allergenic polyester mesh lining
I'm 5'10 200lbs (kind people tell me that I don't look my weight.)
According to the chart, 44 should fit me and 46 even but the arm length's are what I'm not sure about...

LunchBox has the same suit and went off the sites measurements when ordering his and it was spot on. If something isn't quite right you could always have it altered for a small fee.

Great to know that alteration is also an option.

I found FRANK THOMAS Velocita Leather One-Piece Motorcycle Suit for almost the same price. The FS would have to be ordered online with s/h fees and the FT can be picked up locally.

Which one is a better (protection and quality wise) suit? I will try out the FT one tomorrow and see how it fits.

I suggest buying the suit from a site sponsor. Most ensure fit and you always want to support those that support you

Ares, I got the FRANK THOMAS Velocita Leather One-Piece Motorcycle Suit from Cycle Gear. The first one i got was the smallest size (38), it fit fine in the legs, but tight up top. I had it replaced with the next size (40) for free. That fit fine. Haven't had a real chance to wear it other than around the house to break in so I can't give you feedback on it yet.
However, if you're worried about fit, I agree with AJFLo. Head to a site sponsor and have them fit ya.

Fieldsheer is a great suit. Fits well and handles a crash well.

I've got the fieldsheer and really like it. Got fitted at Motorcycles Unlimited and he even shipped it down to my house for $5 so I wouldn't have to drive back up there. Fit great as well

If you're gonna go FS, might as well go to Motorcycles Unlimited and get fitted. I'm a 42 normally, but factoring in an A* back protector, Patrick determined a 44 fit better. I think he guarantees the fit, too.

X2, i didnt know if i was going to stick with trackdays or not when i first started riding, so i cheaped out and bought frank thomas gear, it barely lasted the year before it stated falling apart, the gloves, the boots and the zippers on the leathers, i saved money and bought a set of Ride Smart TAICHI's to replace them
