Your Busa is worth $7k +/-. Trade it. You're getting a good deal. If you ride agressive at all, you'll really appreciate the Gixxer. Ask Brutus!!!

My bad, trade in is worth 7k. However you're looking at it, unless you only want to go ina straight line, you're getting a much better deal. That 1500 will get you some leathers and tires and you're ready to ride. The Gixxer, is at least as comfy as the Busa. Brutus thinks mine is actually more comfy than his Busa. He's 6' + and has no problems at all. You're getting a better bike. You will ba amazed at what 100+ lbs will do to a bike!!

Believe me, it is much faster, just not on top. At least without the black box. It will get to it's governor much faster. It is stronger on the bottom and in middle, where it counts most!!! Even without doing an iron tour, a quick 100 miler is much better on the gixxer!!!!

Of course, you could have the best of both worlds. Keep the Busa and buy the 1K!!!! Isn't everyone on this board rich anyways?!!

If someone offered you $8500 for it you should take it, MOST dealers would only give you around $5000 for it and with the ZX14 out and probably a new Busa in the works the market will probably go down on the old ones.
Just my .02...............

But remember.............the 1K is DONE at 181 stock

Now Clyde, you know it's not done. Mr Government man said to stop there. But we both know those little Japanese guys had other tricks up their little sleeves. Aarom Yates Superstock bike was clock at 196 last year. A little black box...BAM!!!!!

However, now that you mention it, I've never seen you go over 150!!!!:laughing6

2kbusa, have you ever been to the track before? if you have not, i dont think buying a track only bike is a smart idea just yet.
