what exactly does acting half dead imply? it spins the engine over slowly? it doesnt spin at all? it spins full speed but with no ignition? what kind of charger do you have; a trickle charger (2amp or less) or a full size charger (were you cooking it on 10amp cycle)?

its a 1.5amp 12v charger slow trickle charger

its in the garage always

ya i know my duc was a pita 3yrs ago.. i'd put a mobile heater next to it for 30mins, keep it on the trickle and then start it that winter

the zx10r is usually alot easier to start

but ya these last few weeks have killed the batt

i may wait till a good warm day leave it in the sunlight?
cuz the garage is sitting at a good 50 degrees

my old cbr900 used to sleep outside on 35degree nights and she would fire right up in the 45degree morning after on a 2yr old battery... take the battery inside and let it warm up to 70 or so and do a slow cook (1.5amp) for a while and check battery connections for corrosion/loose terminals.

take it by a NTB or firestone and have them test it before you re-install it and frustrate yourself any more.

yeah on the 95 you pop the driver seat (no bolts) remove the batt strap, and there you have it
