Bill is r r r right. It was hard to say but it's true.

The guy is hanging his off the seat but his head stays centered over the tank. That kinda contradicts the idea of hanging off in the first place.
Head and shoulders gotta lead.

Seems to work for him.

Just makes the bike have to lean more since he's not using his body weight to move the bike; and he's reaching. Looks like his arms are getting tired too

Cool video though

I agree he is making it work but leaning less is the point of hanging off. So why not do it right and go even faster?
Disclaimer: I do it right but am not any faster because I am old and I suck.

So the knee puck scrapes when you're doing 45 around a mild radius corner

I was thinkin the same thing. I didnt watch it all. He keeps his head and shoulders over the centerline while scooting his off. Proper form is to "kiss the mirror". Move your body as a unit off the bike

Proper form is difficult to get on a bike with a bar instead of clip ons. You have to have double jointed wrists.

to all the "badasses" who said the guy don't ride proper..

If you're hinting that you're riding better than this guys you're just fooling yourselves. Of course those 1% that would actually out-ride this guy probably won't bother being the "badass!"

I ride just like him. I like my head upright. I like that perspective more. Especially on the street. I get a better view. If I rode everyday at speed I'd probably adjust and start hanging my head further out, but I don't ride enough to get used to it. A trackday or two a year isn't enough to get used to much and I stick to what I'm comfortable with.

Dr. Sardonicus has done several videos. I believe he has a dedicated website with them all. I've watched at least 5 of his vids, and they are all very nice quality, nice roads, creative camera angles.

That guy missed pretty much missed every apex and went off track

He wouldn't have had to lean the bike so far if he moved himself off more.....point of all these post. Maybe he just wanted to drag some knee for the Youtube video.

Or Maybe all of the instructors at track days have no idea what they're talking about, including Ty Howard
