Question Anyone use heated hand grips? Recommendations/suggestions please

I'm thinking of getting some. I hate wearing bulky gloves in the winter.

Anyone had bad/good experience with a particular brand/model/type?

Do it yourself or pay someone?

TIA, Jeremy

I've wondered about this too. I just wonder how well they actually heat the hands. I would imagine the outsides would still get frozen. I've been using hand warmers and they seem to be working alright. Maybe a little cheaper than buying heated hand grips for the couple of cold months out of the year.

i rode a bike with these once last winter and they actually work pretty well. they def keep your palms warm, but thats about it. its better than nothing, but i think heated gloved might be a better choice as they are a little easier to remove.

I have heated grips on a Gold Wing - they help, but your hands can still be miserably cold because the outside of your fingers still get very cold. Heated gloves such as those from Gerbing are a MUCH better choice - your hands will NOT get cold with heated gloves.
