Question R6 brake lines

I need some help on this brake line issues for the R6 not the R6s...
I know that brake lines for the 08 and 09 R6 models are the same.
Also, I know that the 06 and 07 models are the same.
I'd suppose that these two types would be the same since not big changes happened between them.
To try to answer my question, I called to a nation wide motorcycle supply store and they told me that the 06-07 are not compatible with the 08-09. Well, I called another big store and told me that they are compatible.
Can somebody tell me if the 06-07 & 08-09 brake lines are interchangeable??

08-09 forks are 10mm longer then 06-07 , hence probably the only reason they say this. Other then that I cant think of any other reason they would be different.
