my dad could of used that sawstop invention twice...$60 and a new blade (even though expensive) is better than an ER bill, split finger, and ur hand looking mangled for life...

I'm pretty sure you're the only one to think it's stupid. Please enlighten me, what were you thinking (if applicable) that makes the above mentioned product "stupid?"

The inventor put his bare finger into the saw as a testament how confident he is in his own invention. That's stupid? When you ride your motorcycle you are confident in your abilities (that the action is safe within your own bounds). Most others who don't share your view think you are stupid, does that really make riding motorcycle stupid? I am sure you already know the answer for that one.

Calling things "stupid" without any valid and coherent thoughts to back your claim up just make yourself look bad, ESPECIALLY on the internetz

really? that was IN the saw? have you ever used a saw?
