I'd ride w you if I had a place to stay.

I've never been up that way.

But this month is going to get busy w the Santa rides etc. Whatever your choice be safe and give yourself double the travel time if you're taking the bike.

+1 - you may run into snow or ice up there this time of year.

I've driven that in the car... it was painful. I can only imagine how bvad on a bike in the wet /cold. Drive to Dumas or fly into AMA and drive the short distance to Dumas.

A year and a half ago, I did that ride on my HD on the way to Salt Lake City. Loved every minute. The temps were in the 90's. I'd just dress in layers and take some rain gear. Just enjoy the journey and don't worry about the destination.

the faster easier route (more boring??) would be 45 to Oklahoma and then west - all interstate roads... but I hadn't thought about snow and ice - yikes! I have warm/dry gear, but not heated!

I used to drive back and forth to SE Colorado, that's a long drive. I'd take a plane this time of year unless your setup real nice for cold weather riding.

If your taking a cage, ehhh either way Id prolly drive if it saved me a few hundred bucks, if less than $200 is saved by driving I'd just fly
