50's are way more forgiving and inexpensive then destroying a $9K sportbike, but you know the saying, "You can give someone advice, but you can't make'em take it" I wonder how many of us learned wheelies on big bikes, crashed them and then just stunted them out. I know I did, fur was the solution in 2002. Now I find myself mainly on my 50 in a parkin lot by my house.

Get a 50, otherwise just stay in first gear get the bike rolling a little rev it up to 6k and pop the clutch. Its what i did to learn and until you get use to it its gonna pucker your @$$ every time. the 50 will help. I dont own one yet but am constantly shopping for one. I cant sustain them or get good ones up to BP but i can get the front tire about a foot or 2 off the ground and ride through an intersection.

thats what I figured, just thought they would be good to stand on, but then i thought "You jump off the back sometimes when its too late for the rear brake and if that thing hits the ground its gonna make the bike either fly forward or do some other crazy t"

50's are fun. I learned staggards in like 30 min of trying.
It felt weird transitioning from the 50 to my ZX-10R but after like 6 tries I got it.
Good stuff. Sitdowns on the other hand are more difficult IMO. But if you get comfy with staggards, you can work your way from there. All just my opinion, I'm no stunter.
