Congrats on the new bike!
The F4i has always been a very competent / versatile motorcycle.

As far as the wheelie , it's only natural to want to see what the bike might do, just keep in mind that it's like handling a loaded gun, not wise to disrespect it.
Wear your gear and take your time learning it and you'll be fine.

BTW, I highly recommend taking the MSF course.

Enjoy your new ride!

I just didn't believe that the bike would do that.... Boy was I wrong....:icon_bigg

As Far as Full gear I am working on it... Already have Gloves. Getting a Jacket this weekend.

What else??? Boots Maybe...
you were doing something wrong then....I have stock gearing and motor on my 94 zx7.....no problems bringing it up in first with just throttle. A lil blip of the clutch in second and it comes up nice too. BTW, I weigh in just under 230 lbs.

I don't either. The only time it's been up was the first time I actually hit it in 2nd gear, front came up a little, then after I ran outta gear I let off.

As far as actually TRYING to do it, I stil don't care to. . . , I've never gotten on it in first gear. I'm more worried about getting that last little 2mm of new tire off the rear, it needs to match the rest of the tire, scuffed to .
