First night out on the F4i

Well, finally got me a helmet today and was ready to take the F4i out for a little ride.

First Impression. Whoa.... Bike felt awesome. Plenty of power on tab. I felt so comfortable on the bike. No Fear when riding the bike at all. Feels so stable and predictable.

I had always read how the bike would come up in 1st gear with ease... My stupid self had to test that out. I read somewhere if you ride around 7 grand and just bip the throttle real quick and the bike will pop up. Boy did it come up. I say it came up about 8 inches....

Never did I feel scared at any point. That is what surprised me. I know I need to be careful and everything like that. So, I chilled out. Cruising on the bike was great as well. Brakes feel really good. Stops on a dime.

Overall the bike felt really really good. I think I made a wise choice....

Can't wait to take my MSF course this summer.....

I have put maybe 14k miles on my F4i since I got it last July, and I always fear riding it... Disrespect the machine and it will bite, if not something else will.

fear is healthy bro. if you have no fear you should not ride IMO. i won't lecture you on how to ride, just glad you made it home safely.

Don't get me wrong when I say "no fear"

Trust me ... I have had other bikes and never did I feel as comfortable as I did on this one. I don't mean "No Fear" Literally. Just meaning that I feel safe and in control on the bike thats all....
