not following you here.

Buck may not have been ADVERTISING TD.

But someone would have asked questions that turned it into a advertisement for Buck. It happens every single time.

And like I said, Buck wouldnt have liked it either.

What does it cost as a sponsor on MH?

so somebody could have asked a question...but didn't. However if they did ask such question than delete that question or lock the tread. Don't delete peoples entire post because it may have drama somewhere in it. If that is the case the delete the entire site Chris.

I never understood why threads are always made to complain about the mods or MH but never to compliment it. Nobody ever appreciates the work and time it takes to put a forum like this together and maintain it.

We're like law enforcement.
Under-paid and under-appreciated.

So here is my question...

It wasnt the first thread of "that " nature that has been deleted, so what makes you think this one would not have?

Secondly, why do the pictures have a big LMS stamp in the center of them? That's what makes it borderline, because they were posted here where LMS, who "competes" with 2 other orgs doesnt pay to be here..... but the others do.

You can say it isnt promotion if you want, but someone was sitting right next to me, when I opened that thread and she said, "Cool pictures....What is Longhorn Motorcycle School?" Until that point, she had never heard of LMS.

I know a site, that allows pics as long as the org name isnt in the title of the thread. There is one group though, that can not converse on the internet without promoting...it is all they know...like sleezy sales people. So EVERY SINGLE thread they ever made, turned into a promotion.

If you want to promote, PAY. Period. If you want to promote on other sites, then offer the community a discount. Period. And the moderators ultimately use their judgement, to determine, what is promoting and what isnt. Not sure what is so difficult to understand about that?

IMO, MH should wait until it becomes a promotion before deleting it. But then they'd have to deal with ******* and all his post reporting. , I'll lay odds he reported the thread in question. What a pain in the .

Bas pics BTW!

Interesting perspective. It's amazing the level of clarity that one gets when they start their own forum. I never thought that much about whether a picture of a forum member on a bike at a track was promoting a track day school. I just enjoy the pics.

It's never an issue until the guy that pays makes it an issue. I'll bet Chris probably doesnt even care about the pics. But someone did.

From my understanding it was the watermark that was against the rules. I was told that if I posted mine they would be allowed to remain as long as I kept it at MH members at the track. That I can understand.

I don't believe CMRA is a sponsor, yet there info is EVERYWHERE on this site. Are they not a money making enetity? Do they pay to have thier schedule posted here? Or TMGP? What makes that a allowable? I quit sponsoring the site when I realized I was one of the few who was acutally paying for it. There is no contiuity to anything on this site, it's flavor or favor of the month.
