19 miles one way for me. Though its all down Telephone road from Alvin to Hobby airport. Worst part is when you get close to hobby by the beltway and all those lights.

My last job was just 12 - 15 miles away depending on the route I took. But quite often I would just tele-commute.

Usually I would sit there on the couch with my laptop.. in my underwear sitting on a conference call thinking.. What would these people think if they knew I was laying on the couch in my undies.. :laughing6

TMI and slighty off-topic.. Sowwie. Just thought I would share.

I'm 32 miles one way. Doesn't take long on the HOV/Bike Lane though.

My thoughts exactly. That would kill me wasting that much time driving a car. Even on a bike that wouldnt be quality bike time... I'll stick with my 12 mile/20 minute commute outbound.

I know a guy at Schlumberger who drives from Sugar Land to Orange, almost the LA border...120 miles one way. 4-5 hours of driving a day. Insanity.

My furthest commute was from Highlands, TX (Near Baytown) to Clay Rd & Beltway 8. Did that for two years.
