battery, got a charger handy? Weak or well used batterys usually have the most issues when the cold weather rolls in.

maybe dead battery. you could try push starting it. or put the battery on a tender for a while.

how old is the battery? sometimes when they are on their last legs, its the cold that does them in. working in parts we always sold way more batteries this time of year.

battery or starter. Is it even turning over at all? Try popping the clutch to start it.

just push start it and take it to a shop, if that battery is good then it could be anything from a loose wire to a defective starter or relay.

^^^agreed. If you hear it click under the seat/in the cowling it could be the starter relay not completing the circuit.

An ETM and DVOM go a long way.

Push starting the bike bypasses the starter; if the ignition comes on when turned then you should have enough energy to start the injectors after popping the clutch.

Check the ground cable. Follow the negative battery lead to where it attaches to the frame or more likely engine.
Make sure that connection is clean and tight. CLEAN and tight.

It may very well be the relay but it could also be the ground. Nobody ever checks it.
