your wired wrong, or the amp is to small to push the power the speakers need

it is a 1600 watt amp and one speaker in the trunk for some time. and now nothing. Am thinkin that the wire from the radio to the amp turning it on has a cut in it but with amp meter show consistant 11.75 amps or so.
i was getting a red light at the amp then it would just blow the 3 fuses.
checked monster wires from battery, also in the trunk to the amp and they are good.
is it possible that the amp has gone bad?
I think it has to be the wire from the radio to the amp but can't figure out why it would blow the amp fuses. radio is working fine.

no wires apear to be touching. the main power to the amp is right there so u can see all the leads,
crawfish and beer, or diet pepsie.
maybe some dogs and sausage also.
offer still stands
