Not sure about the ASV hitting, but my 08 with the Roland sands triple tree does not hit with stock levers on.

pm R1LE#18 he just got a sweet looking top clamp for his 09 and it does not hit with stock levers

my gen 1 needed some cutting and modding of the reservoirs for everything to clear and even then it was just barely clearing.

did you try the usuals? extremebusa.com etc?

yea i have been looking and on the haybusa.org but most people are running spacers with aftermarket levers,

what is happ is that the new clamp drilled with bigger holes they push the bars in a bit to make room, i thing the ROLAND designe you can only lower it abot 1/2 "it still keeps the bars back a little!

thanks guys,

i am looking now for like a vortex tripple tree and then getting some clip ons so i can swing them back bit !

i just dont want to waist my money if they do not work well, or i have to much pull back on the bars !

You may not like the position if the grips are pulled back. The angle on mine kills my wrist. They come back and down. When I grip the grip all fingers cant grip the same and be comfortable. My shoulder width may be one reason. I think if I was more narrow it wouldnt be as big a problem.

yea that is what i was thinking too!

may try the heli bars , or just make some, or put the factory levers back on !

Or i was thinking of getting some wheel waits , you now the flat ones that stick on the inside of the rim? get those and mount them to the bump stops to keep it form hitting , just will not have a steering colm lock ?

what do you all think

ok well they worked!
but you have to roll them back a bit !

with an aftermarket bar clamp or loweing clamp, you dont have the pinch bolt going threw the bars, so you can rotate them back , any how looks good feals good but the clutch still touches just a bit !

may be diff with diff clamps but works with mine !

although i may put the stock clamp back on, and raise it back up !

any how

That's a pretty tight turn if its hitting full right lock.

Hopefully it will suffice until the next mod Goodness knows it never ends
