He got off lucky.

I just got home myself. Definitely had fun. Who was the guy talking to me about body position? Thanks for the tips. I just feel silly sometimes leaning over and hanging off my 650r...

Great ride, I had a blast. Hope everyone else did too!

Wasn't cold at all, and only rained for about 2 minutes total while we were on highway 90, so I'd say we did great.

Nice meeting all of you!

Good to hear you're okay. Bikes are replaceable, you're not.

Nice ride. Was nice to stretch my legs on the way back after not exceeding 60 in the forest or 45 on 3090.

Thanks to everyone that held back for the noobs. Takes alot of restraint. As for future rides; get some rest and be sure you are well enough to ride it. Dont stay up w no sleep then plan on riding your first long ride through the forest. That's dangerous for yourself and others.

Nice to see everyone again.

At least you were able to ride it home too instead of needing someone to come get it! that is never fun either.

your right. the next time ill be more ready, i ll take my time to set up my suspension and break in my tires

another thing was that I was in between the two groups and no one was leading my way , when that turn came in it was alright at the begining and then right at the en it got tighter. so i run out of road and just went on the grass thinking i could save it... (when it happened i was doing 30mph)

Which turn?

Shouldn't need someone to "lead your way" anyhow.

It was near the end. I had it on video, but just deleted it. Not really good footage of it. Pretty much the last hard lean turn.

I agree about leading the way. Next time I really think you should take it slow when people suggest it, usually they know what they are talking about. No one is going to make fun of you for being in the back, or even slow group unless they are a douche.

Just learn the roads next time before going hard. You probably have the skill, you just need to know the road and know how long, short, tight, etc the turns are.

wait, what? yall went that slow? i aplaud the group's patience. that sounds like it would be a great pace for a group of 250's, but i cant imagine it on anything larger
