Christmas Day

So Tim and I were talking the other day about what to do for Christmas and he made a comment about how he used to invite anyone who didn't have plans for Xmas over for dinner and how he would like to make a brisket for dinner. So after discussing it we decided we are going to do that this year but need to get a count a little early so we can figure out how many people to cook for. We dont care what the reason is whether it be you don't have family here, cant afford it, dont know how to cook, or just want to get away from the in-laws. This is for anyone, with kids or without.

If you are interested in coming and hanging out and having a home cooked meal on X mas day here is your chance. Not sure what we will be making yet, but there will be enough for 20-30 people.

We will be sending out directions and such once we get closer to the day. It will be an all day thing minus a few hours set aside in the morning for church and our babies to open presents.

That's great guys. I have never met either of you, but I would be nice to if I could. I already have many family plans but just wanted to say this is a great thing to do for others!

Have a great Xmas!

Thanks, we love to cook and enjoy company so seems like the perfect thing to do. There is no reason any of our fellow riders should not at least get there tummies full of homemade food or have to be alone because everyone else is with there families

I might take you up on the offer. I dont know what is going on with my son at this time, so I cant commit to anything. I cant make any plans at all until the chaos is straightened out, and who knows when that will be.

Sheer awesomeness! I have my kiddos so we will likely be home, But it is a strange feeling being alone for turkey day. I am so use to spending the whole day cooking. Guess I will be replacing cooking with riding this year

Thanks girl, I appreciate the offer. But I think it will be good for me to get in a good ride and then come home and cook a small dinner. Gotta get use to what will be the norm from now on.
