question for someone who has worked for a service dept of a big 4 brand

do bikes come shipped with fluids already in them. as triumphs are not. so imjust curious. triumph = no oil or coolant. is filled during the pdi process.

kawis come filled with fluids, but we checked every single one of them as well, since it had happened before that they were low or something had been missed at the factory. Same with Victory motorcycles as well. basically un-crate, fill and charge the battery, install windshield, front tire, front fender, mirrors, often set up handlebars/clipons and any other little things. bikes with handlebars needed hand controls installed as well. then start it and PDI it, then road test it.

yes they come with fliuds but we always checked anyway

im on a triumph forum and those people all think the daytona comes filled with fluids and that they use a special break in oil. they dont. they come dry and most dealers prolly use some oreily 5w 30 dino oil for break in. one guy got but hurt when i corrected him. he said the big 4 come with fluids. so maybe im the hole, lol.
