Longboard skatin

Anyone longboard on here? Skate at all? personally, I am wanting to get in some good bombin this summer. Anyone got any good suggestions on hills or parking garages, anything that you could pick up some speed on?

Austin is the place for longboarding but Houston is too flat unless you just want to cruise...even then it's a because of the traffic. I've been thinking of picking up a cruiser deck and some bigger wheels/trucks to skate to work, havent skated since I was in school but gas prices have me thinking about them again.
