Dunlop 211's and ntec slicks are the stickiest and longest lasting roadracing tires. Most all the local tracks records have been set on them.

Ive been running 003s for a while and they are great, and the swap to bridgestone slicks is easy from 003s and they both stick like hot bubble gum. but +1 to whoopie my next pair of tires are gonna be dunlop n-tecs

According to your avatar image, that's not the case. Kidding bro! *smooch!*

For what it's worth, I've run DOTs/slicks on Bridgestone, Dunlop and Pirelli. If a guy is fast and the bike is set up well, he can go fast on any of these three tire brands. You'll see Pirelli, Bridgestone and Dunlop in the Top 5 Expert results on any given Sunday. At the track day level, it's really about honing your racecraft and bike set up. However, each require different levels of set up and have different feedback characteristics.

On a personal note, I've had success on all three of the brands I listed, but I've been running Pirellis lately because the carcass is a little more supple and I like how plush the ride is. The added benefit is the tire support. John @ South Central Race Center rocks. No 'happy ending', but it's all good.

(see Whoopie, i kid Hutch as well)

In the end, you have to make sure your bike is set-up so the tires can do their job. Are the warmers on yet? I'm out of coffee... ...
