I would advise grabbing 2 down after the bump and trailing it to the apex of T2. Or you can say hello to the ditch for me.

The bump coming of the banking. If your bike is geared right you should be topping out 6th right before it. Close to 170mph indicated. If you don't shave off about 50mph before you apex T2 then you will have a nice suprise. Just my $0.02 though. Capa and UFO can probably give you some more advices as they run a faster lap then me. A little black on the exit is good... to much black on the exit and you will be in for another suprise... easy to do out of T3. Have Fun!

And if you do go off of T2, there's another surprise.
There's a ditch in run off that you can't see until you dive in.
You'll get to see the whole thing while you are being tossed and flying.

I would say lowside it in T2 if you have to. Running off there at that speed is not going to be fun.

I would definitely advise grabbing 1 or 2 down shifts after the transition going into 1. then you can lean and trail. If you're gonna go off, go off after T1 preferably on T2. The ditch runs through T1 and up to in between T1 and T2. I've gone off on T2 before from going through there kinda hot and I've managed to keep it on 2 wheels and ride all the way to the banking and get back in track. T2 is decreasing radius so you can definitely have an experience if you're not careful on the throttle coming out. I've left blackies as well as "Oh " coming through there but just be easy on the throttle and you should be good. There's a good reference point going through 2 but it would be too hard to explain writing it all down. Have fun!

I ran off, bent the front rim, rode off, came back to the track and rode all the way back to the pit.
I didn't go down.
Just bent the rim...

Funny, both of you said "don't ask".. no one did, yet you both told your stories.

T3 sneaks up on alot of people... som much speed coming out of T2. We witnessed that first hand with Buck last CMRA weekend at TWS (Texas World Speedway).
