at least the GM did not blow you off, hopefully that will get him to put his foot into some and get things resolved.
I know when i worked at Pro Powersports of Conroe as a tech I did my best to make sure that nothing came back for any reason, I wanted people to come in, get the work done and be happy with the result. it was a source of pride to me that come backs were minimal with my work.

I also checked for his name in our customer base and it doesn't come up, so I highly doubt it.

No, unfortunately not. While we can do any maintenance on a bike while it's in the warranty period, we cannot do warranty repairs for any manufacturer.

Nope, Motorcycles Unlimited can do ANYTHING.

Superheros of the bike world.

But yeah, if your bike is under warranty, suzuki wont allow work to be paid for from Motorcycles Unlimited.

I had the same problem at CCN. Went in for the GSXR frame inspection and they were extremely lazy. They didn't want to inspect the frame because it was polished and said they would have to call Suzuki...but they didn't and just gave me the runaround. So then I was like can you at least fix my tire, it is brand new and loses air every few days. He said you have to take it back to where you got it installed, we cant do it. So after accomplishing absolutely nothing coming up here I figured I would at least get an inspection sticker. He inspects it and say the front brakes need to be bled. So i ask if he could do it, and says he cant hes busy. WTF. He didn't ask to set up an appointment or call me about the frame recall or anything. I guess they get paid by the hour so what do they care, less work for them. I have seen bad service departments but they just plain suck. I was ready to spend alot of money, but I will never do business there again

That's pretty wild. I'm sure there's two sides to the story, there always is.

Not every shop can always fix everything properly for everyone.

There will be mistakes, its a matter of how they approach and deal with them.

However, if there is a shop having that many problems(generally speaking) sounds like the people that are employed fell into that position instead of worked to be there. Good techs are hard to come by. Not to single some out, but Patrick is maticulous when looking for techs and wont settle(even when he gets applications from people that have been in related fields for years.)

We have the same at the dealer level WITH FACTORY TRAINING. I can count three competent techs in my dealer of 25 or so that will put forth the effort to verify concern/bad part instead of guessing at a 50/50 or guessing w a fault code. Its sad, but if they are allowed to get away with it they do. In their eyes its a dollar sign. For guys like me, we dont make the hours they do, but we are paid more and we know the vehicles/systems/general theory of operation and more then they can guess.

Laziness is victorious over quality work in most hands. Sad reality and it effects real techs through stereotyping. I've been a Master for 7yrs at BMW, been working on them for 9yrs, wrenching for 13. And I probably ask more questions to Motorcycles Unlimited then most people that just ride their bikes. Why? They know and are familiar w the systems. This isnt an advertisement for Motorcycles Unlimited, just honest testimony. When I have paint questions, cell phone questions, etc I ask the corresponding person I know has experience. Can I do it by myself? Sure. Will it be done as well as an expert that is confident and knows the product? Honestly, likely not.

So ask questions, look over the shop, word-of-mouth, be judgemental but remember each shop will have good/bad stories. Its inherit. When you find one you are happy with, establish a reppor w them and have your child(bike) serviced w the satisfaction and piece of mind you are confident with.

That was me. The actual story is I use to be an employee there and a guy came and traded his gz250 in for a kawasaki cruiser. The bike was so beat to sh*t (The customer said he WOULD NOT buy the new bike if he didnt get anything for his old one) so the manager said we wil give you $250.00 for it and the guy said ok. Well later that day I walked in and was talking to the manager when he told me what had happened and was bit*hin about how he (the Dealership) now has a bike that they cant sale and that he doesnt know what to do with it so I said i'd buy it for $250 from the dealership. So I bought it and gave it to my Grandfather as a little tinker toy for him.....he as got it running and building it up from the frame, i'm really proud of him, thats the true story
